Optometry Translator Spanish for Android is a professional mobile translator for practitioners such as optometrists, ophthalmologists, medical doctors, optometric technicians, and other healthcare providers. This is simply the quickest method to communicate with Spanish speaking patients in an eye exam. Phrases are divided into intuitive categories for quick access to the right phrase at the right time. High quality recordings of all the necessary basic clinical instructions are now at your fingertips in one convenient location.
This hassle-free solution is profoundly inexpensive compared to traditional medical interpretation services. In May 2004, a peer-reviewed study was published in the American Journal of Public Health (Vol 94, No. 5) stating the “estimated cost of providing interpreter services was $279 per person per year.” Even more, many health care facilities cannot afford to provide these services necessary to overcome the difficult language barriers. Exam time is significantly longer because each word must be interpreted and repeated. Our app instead relies on a “Yes or No” question and response approach to facilitate simple communication.
In addition to being an essential tool during an exam, doctors now have an easy quick reference guide to practice and pronounce the most useful phrases. This app enables doctors to learn enough Spanish to complete a full eye exam. Most language courses do not teach technical medical terminology, so why waste your time? Just learn what you need to know!
FREE lifetime updates and copies for all your Android devices. Purchasing the app once will let you install it on all your Android devices at no additional charge. The price is identical regardless of the number of devices or size of your practice.
Rock-solid performance, a minimalistic interface, and snappy responsiveness ensure efficiency while interacting with patients. All phrases are pre-recorded within the app, so an Internet connection is not required. Your privacy is secure because this app does not collect information, serve advertisements, or require any special permissions.
